The Community Programs Department is responsible for administering several Covid-19 relief resources for Missourians in need directly and through partnerships with other organizations.

Housing Stability & Eviction Diversion (HSED)

The purpose of the HSED program is to support programs within Missouri communities that work to prevent evictions and help ensure long-term housing stability for eligible Missouri renters. These funds will be used to provide assistance related to eviction relief, case management and legal services intended to keep low to moderate-income Missouri tenants financially impacted by COVID-19 housed.

State Assistance For Housing Relief (SAFHR)

SAFHR Mortgage Assistance Counseling Program (SAFHR-MAC)

The purpose of SAFHR-MAC is to support programs within Missouri communities that work to prevent homeowner mortgage delinquencies, defaults, foreclosures, and displacements of homeowners experiencing financial hardship since January 21, 2020.

SAFHR Housing Stability & Eviction Diversion (SAFHR-HSED)

The purpose of the State Assistance for Housing Relief (SAFHR) Housing Stability and Eviction Diversion (HSED) program is to support programs within Missouri communities that work to prevent eviction and help to ensure long-term housing stability. These funds should be coordinated with the Missouri Housing Development Commissions’ (MHDC) SAFHR rental and utility assistance program to increase access to the SAFHR application and to provide additional legal and case management services.
