The Missouri Housing Development Commission (MHDC) is holding Listening Sessions for the purpose of gathering stakeholder and community input to inform the preparation of the upcoming Five-Year Strategic Plan for Affordable Housing in the state of Missouri, set to be published in 2025.
The Listening Sessions will provide a forum for stakeholders across the state to share their observations of the current state of affordable housing in Missouri, including but not limited to the production, preservation, and availability of affordable housing (rental and homeownership), gaps in existing services, and barriers to accessing affordable housing for persons experiencing homelessness, renters, and homeowners.
The sessions will also allow participants to provide suggestions about ways that MHDC might help to address these affordable housing needs.
